f.o. : hey sailor!

This was a last winter project that I’m finally getting around to posting. My Hey Sailor! by Andrea Mowry was super addictive to knit because of the clever pattern and construction.

I love that this t-shirt can be worn with the buttons in front or back making it a pretty versatile construction. I knit mine in Knitting for Olive cotton merino (this was my first time using this line from Knitting for Olive) and it was a dream to work with. Things I spend time making—and never wear. This one is the Hilma pullover from Pom Pom Quarterly and while I had to muddle through without errata, I think it came out pretty beautifully. I don’t know if I’ll wear it; they often end up being gifted. I love making things but I don’t know how to celebrate the things I make. I’m working on it. I’m trying to think differently about myself and not find the flaws in everything I do.
