f.o.: sweater no.18

Yet another dupe! I saw another knitter on ravelry make the Sweater No. 18 by My Favorite Things using this unusual color—a gradient from Malabrigo Rios yarn line called Primavera, which is a gradient of yellows, greens, purples, grays, and oranges. This is not a color way I’d normally choose but I’m trying to branch out in 2025 and work some more unique pieces.

The ups? This sweater was a dream to knit. Great pattern and my fit ended up being impeccable. It’s so damn comfortable. The down? I didn’t love the color on me.

That’s ok—because I gifted it to my mum for mother’s day and it worked so well on her it’s like it ended up where it was always intended to go.
