f.o. : olga sweater.

I’m quite pleased with my Olga Sweater by PetiteKnit, which I completed at the very start of 2025 and still haven’t worn out in the world. I decided to take some color risk, which is part of my goal setting for this year of makes, and went with a bold red and purple palette. This particular combination is a dupe of another knitter’s finished product that I was really drawn to when I was trying to decide on what yarn and colors to pursue for this project.

This is knit with Manos del Uruguay Ideal in zinnia and futuro dusk. This year was a workhorse and I really enjoyed working with it—but if you use bamboo needles like I do, be prepared for it to dye your needles. Lots of color bleed while you are working.

Here’s to hoping I wear it this winter, 2025.
