f.o.: grandma's medley.

Realizing I've failed to document so many things I've made over the last few years as the audience for blogging dwindled, I'm looking at what I've made during this time. And even though no one is reading this, that's O.K. It's kind of a living record of how I've stuck with this craft and kept at it; how I've grown, explored new fiber, stretched myself to try new things and to take risks.

This one is Grandma's Medley by Tina Tse and it's incredible. The yarn choice, a huge risk, but you can't make it without using THIS YARN. The while point of this design is the brilliant use of this yarn and the blocks of texture to go with it. Wow. I was mesmerized as soon as I saw it and knew that my mom would love this one.

The yarn used for this sweater is Periwinkle Sheep Highland in stonewashed denim, mount kisco, and rose gold. I oddly have a lot leftover, so I'll have to someday figure out something I can do with the remaining partial skeins.

It was gifted to her for her birthday, February 2022. See my ravelry. notes here.
